After breakfast, transfer from Delhi to the airport to board your flight to Jorhat, known as the tea capital of Assam. Surrounded by lush tea gardens, Jorhat reflects authentic Assamese culture and serves as the gateway to Majuli Island, the world’s largest river island.

On arrival, continue your scenic drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for the rare one-horned rhinoceros, elephant safaris, and rich biodiversity. The park’s wetlands, grasslands, and forests offer one of the best wildlife experiences in Northeast India.

After breakfast, proceed from Kohima to the beautiful Khonoma Village, India’s first green village and a perfect example of eco-friendly living in harmony with nature. En route, visit the historic Ungma Village, one of the oldest Ao Naga settlements, offering deep insight into tribal folklore, customs, and heritage.

Enjoy a scenic drive through winding mountain roads, lush forests, and breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival, in Mokokchung, experience its unique charm and colonial influence. Later, visit Longkhum Village, perched at 1846 metres, offering panoramic views of the eastern Himalayas and surrounding hills. Explore local handicrafts and handloom products before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast, explore the remote tribal landscapes around Mon, a fascinating region known for its deep-rooted Konyak Naga traditions. Begin your journey with a visit to the traditional Hongphui Village, home to some of the last remaining elder tribesmen who preserve the ancient legacy of headhunting culture and tribal customs.

Continue to the remarkable Longwa Village, one of the largest villages in the region, uniquely located along the India–Myanmar border. The most fascinating highlight is the Angh’s House, which famously lies in both India and Myanmar, symbolising the cross-border tribal kingdom. The village chief, or Angh, holds traditional authority over multiple regions, and his house displays ancestral skull trophies and intricate wooden carvings.
